Generational Equity Advises Simplus Management in Sale to RTC Partners

Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Simplus Management Corp., to RTC Partners. The acquisition closed June 29, 2018.

Based in Los Alamitos, Simplus Management provides professional program, project and construction management services to governmental agencies and to architect and engineering firms throughout Southern California.

RTC Partners, headquartered in New York City, is a private investment firm that partners with managers of middle market companies to unlock growth opportunities. RTC Partners combined the Simplus Management acquisition with three other businesses to form Anser Advisory, its new portfolio company that specializes in capital program funding, program management, project management, construction management and executive advisory services nationwide. RTC anticipates continuing to grow Anser through acquisitions.

Generational Equity Senior Managing Director Stephen Crisham, with support from VP Chad Comroe, carried the deal to a successful close. Executive Managing Director Randy Kamin established the initial relationship with Simplus.

"This acquisition fit nicely into the strategy being implemented by the buyer," said Crisham. "It fit the line of business as well as the geographic market."
