Loren Marc Schmerler serves as President of Bottom Line Management, Inc., an Atlanta-based business brokerage and consulting firm.  Mr. Schmerler has been a valued Affiliate Partner of Generational Equity since 2005.  As a Senior M&A Advisor and Certified Professional Consultant, Mr. Schmerler has helped thousands of business owners in over 200 industries develop strategic plans to transition their business and achieve their financial goals. Under the guidance and leadership of Mr. Schmerler and Bottom Line Management, Inc. its clients have saved millions of dollars, maximized the value of their client’s businesses and helped create and protect family legacies.

Prior to entering the business brokerage field, Mr. Schmerler served as Chief Financial Officer or Controller for several firms ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 subsidiaries. Formerly, he wrote a business advice column for Wal-Mart’s Sam’s Club, was a national business seminar presenter for STAPLES and a recognized business expert for INC Magazine’s Cash Flow and Negotiation event at INC’s World Expo in 1994.

He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the prestigious Boston University School of Management and recipient of the Harold C. Case Scholarship for Academic Excellence, he holds an MBA with Honors from Georgia State University and his professional credentials’ include Certified Professional Consultant and Accredited Professional Consultant.
