David Ohrvall is recognized as a leading expert in case interview style problem solving.  He has lectured the topic to over 60,000 graduate level business students, at over 70 business schools throughout the world, including Harvard, MIT, Cambridge, and Stanford.  At Generational Group he is an M&A advisor who is passionate about helping business owners exit their businesses for maximum value.

Before joining Generational, Mr. Ohrvall was in involved in several sell-side transactions for companies such as Equity Office Properties and Nalco.   He also has buy-side experience from his years with Bain & Company and Accenture, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the M&A process.  In addition, as a Bain consultant, he has advised large multi-national firms like Motorola, Ford Motor Company, and Kraft and over 25 other firms in a wide variety of industries.

Mr. Ohrvall is an innovative leader having created a widely used tool for maximizing business value called the MVM (Maximum Value Model).  In addition, he assisted Generational with developing the Deal GPA tool which is designed to help Generational clients improve their business value, enabling them to achieve optimal valuations in the market.

David is passionate about teaching and is a published author of multiple books.  He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from the Wharton School.

In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
