Job Description: A Vice President in the Central US Region will be responsible for managing the logistics of M&A transaction marketing and enhancing the client relationship experience for GE clients as SDM, in addition to eventually managing a small number of clients on their own deal plate as LDM.

The VP will serve as SDM to a team of in-house and affiliate dealmakers (12-15 professionals) plus eventually a limited number of clients as LDM. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Participate and provide valued feedback during Evaluation Review Committee process
  • Manage client Evaluation deliveries & Engagement Agreements, identify motivations
  • Perform as the primary client liaison, together with the LDM or as the LDM on select client assignments, during the M&A marketing phase
  • Develop and manage marketing preparations including Profiles, CIM's, Buyer Lists and Buyer Campaign Launches
  • Launch deals and manage marketing campaign resources and logistics
  • Manage and perform buyer profile and CIM calls and email campaigns
  • Maintain CRM Account and Deal status/stages and report regularly to LDM/EMD and client on campaign status
  • Manage NDA receipt/approval and OM distribution
  • Support LDM and manage "Calls for Offers", LOI/IOI Reviews, and LOI Negotiations
  • Manage client interaction with Virtual Dataroom and due diligence and closing process
  • Maintain team marketing development, updates and distribution
  • Maintain annual account updates support/coordination
  • Develop regional reports and dashboards


Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or some other highly-related Business Management or Business Marketing degree is a minimum qualification, and a master-level degree or MBA is highly-preferred, but relevant experience could be substituted in lieu of.

Financial modeling and a solid understanding of financial statement analysis and Microsoft Office Suite is a core qualification, with experience in VBA modeling and Salesforce CRM considered a plus.

A proven track-record of client relationship and communication management is also a qualification. The VP has to be able to communicate quickly and effectively with clients and prospective buyers over the phone/Zoom, in person, and via email, primarily during office hours, but frequently after-hours and/or on weekends. Travel is required.


Training: The VP will be provided in-house training from the Executive MD, other In-House Dealmakers, and other team Supporting Dealmakers.
