Role Summary

The Analyst/Associate will work on a wide variety of business valuation and consulting engagements in a range of industries. They will perform a thorough analysis and assist in conducting management interviews and other due diligence, financial analysis and modeling as well as writing the valuation reports and offering memorandums. The ability to confidently interact with top-level executives is essential.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Frequently interact with top-level executives in a confident and professional manner;
  • Communicate with clients to gather the appropriate financial and operational information;
  • Analyze financials, tax returns and other operational data of companies to perform financial analysis and estimates of value;
  • Perform Company, Industry and Market/Economic research to create well-written reports;
  • Respond to client inquires and questions in a professional and timely manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required;
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Word and Excel);
  • A high degree of professionalism and excellent Communication skills (both verbal and written) is required;
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as proficient follow through skills;
  • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical;
  • Masters level degree in finance, accounting, or similar degree (and/or related professional designation such as CFA or CPA) is preferred.
